The palace where I live dates back to the 1700's and reflects characteristic Venetian taste: period furniture, damask materials, Venetian flooring and with a magnificent facade overlooking a typical Venetian canal, the Rio di Santa Sofia.
You will be welcomed on the first floor into a large lobby with visible brick work and a second entrance off the canal. On the second floor you will find the breakfast room furnished in Louis XVI style where I will be pleased to serve you an abundant breakfast each morning. Off the breakfast room are four bedrooms all with private bathroom, while on the third floor attic there is a large, characteristic room and my apartment.
I will be delighted to give you any advice on how to uncover the magic of this splendid city: itineraries, trattorias and restaurants, museums and exhibitions as well as day trips out of town. And between one walk and another, you will always be near your dwelling for a well deserved siesta!

By plane
From "Marco Polo" Venice airport there are different ways of getting to the Al Palazzetto bed & breakfast:
"by water taxi you can reach the hotel directly using the canal entrance.
"by taking the direct "Venice Air Terminal" bus which will take you right to Piazzale Roma. From there you can take the no. 1 vaporetto and get off at the Ca' d'Oro. Walk right to the end of the calle at the jetty and you will find yourself in Strada Nuova: on the opposite side to you, to the right, is Calle delle Vele. At the end of the Calle is a bridge at the foot of which you will find the Al Palazzetto at no. 4057.
"by taking the Alilaguna motorboat and getting off at Fondamente Nuove. Follow the Salizzada degli Specchieri then straight on, across the Campo dei Gesuiti until you reach Fondamenta Zen. Turn right and walk along the fondamenta for about 30 meters, cross the bridge on your left and then go straight on along Calle Zanardi and Ruga dei due Pozzi. At the end, you will cross Fondamenta Priuli to your right. At the foot of the second bridge, Ponte delle Vele on your left, you will find the Al Palazzetto at number 4057.
By car
You can park your car in Piazzale Roma or at Tronchetto. If you park at Tronchetto, take the no. 2 vaporetto to Piazzale Roma. From there, take the no. 1 vaporetto and get off at the Ca' d'Oro. Go the whole way along the calle at the jetty and you will find yourself in Strada Nuova: on the opposite side to you, to the right, is Calle delle Vele and at the end of the Calle is a bridge, Ponte delle Vele, at the foot of which you will find the Al Palazzetto at no. 4057.
By train
From the Station you can reach the Al Palazzetto by taking the no. 1 vaporetto and getting of at the Ca' d'Oro. Walk right to the end of the calle at the jetty and you will find yourself in Strada Nuova: on the opposite side to you, to the right, is Calle delle Vele and at the end of the Calle is a bridge, Ponte delle Vele, at the foot of which you will find the Al Palazzetto at no. 4057.
